First officially played in 1895, the Amateur Championship is the oldest golf championship in this country - one day older than the U.S. Open. Many of the great names of professional golf, such as Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods, grace the Havemeyer Cup. Southern Hills is excited to host the 2009 U.S. Amateur Championship.
